One of our Lodge members, Martyn Wren, will be spending the next eight months or so touring South Africa and beyond in his modified Land Rover, visiting some incredible nature reserves, animal sanctuaries and may other wonderful landmarks. BOURNE TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB
On Saturday 6th September the Lodge of Aveland will be the match ball sponsor at Abbey Lawn as Bourne Town FC take on AFC Rushden & Diamonds in the FA Cup.
Come down to support OUR local team, and to meet the Lodge of Aveland team, as we present the match ball on the pitch, and choose the Man of the Match too.
Lodge donate £500 to local charity
18th October 2025.
Lodge of Aveland WM Steve Baker and Charity Steward Brent Pottle handed over a cheque for £500 to Karrie Rodgers, the leader of Bourne Little Miracles. They do great work with the disabled and those with additional needs, and the donation will help with their outgoings and much needed extra resources for the social club. The WM and his son stayed on to help out, even being the bingo caller at their afternoon social.
